Support, Empowerment and Growth

Therapy for Children, Teenagers and Young Adults

Therapy Approach

The main purpose of my work is to provide children, teenagers and young adults with high quality personalized therapy by aiding them through guidance and empowerment in all areas of their lives. I follow an integrative approach using a combination of therapy models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Narrative Therapy in the therapy room along with care, empathy and warmth.
I never stop being amazed by how much progress, growth and transformation can come from children and teenagers being in therapy! Often, my work is more short term and goal oriented with these age groups, as they tend to be incredibly receptive and are able to be empowered with skills developed in therapy to function independently after achieving their goals. This can also be very true with young adults depending on the challenges presented and person but longer-term therapy can also be provided when needed, which is equally as impactful and meaningful.
